☆☆ BOOKING PRIORITIES & AVAILABILITY ☆☆

We prioritize rentals for groups who also book the lodging at the Brown County Barn Burner (sleeps up to 29).

Lodging + Event Space: Can be reserved a year or more in advance. Contact me for reservations.
Event Space Only: Rental typically available starting 90 days before the event. Submit an inquiry to book.
Wedding Receptions & Large Celebrations: Due to the combined nature of the lodging and Event Space in the Barn Burner, this space is NOT suited for traditional wedding receptions unless the full lodging is also booked.

Need lodging too? Groups booking the Entire Barn Burner receive priority access & a discount on the Event Space rental.

☆☆ SPACE LAYOUT & CAPACITY ☆☆

The Event Space at the Brown County Barn Burner can accommodate groups of up to 90 people, depending on your setup.

Recommended capacity guidelines:
Seated Meals: Up to 60 people (30-50 people is most comfortable)
Collaborative Meetings/Discussions: Up to 30 people
Lectures/Presentations: Up to 70 people
Weddings/Receptions: Up to 45 People (these bookings require lodging to also be booked)

Your rental includes the use of our tables and chairs at no extra charge (six 8-ft tables, eight 6-ft tables, and 75 black folding chairs). Arrange them however works best for your event.

A rolling whiteboard and a Smart TV w/ HDMI cable are available for presentations, planning sessions, or workshops at no additional cost.

Guests are responsible for setting up, tearing down, and returning furniture to its original location unless other arrangements are made in advance. Want a hands-off experience? Setup/tear-down services may be available for an additional fee.

The Event Space is fully ADA-accessible and includes two unisex restrooms.

☆☆ FOOD & ALCOHOL POLICIES ☆☆

Guests are welcome to bring their own food or hire a licensed caterer of their choice.

The Event Space kitchen includes a refrigerator, ice machine, 3-bay sink, and prep tables, but no oven, microwave, or other cooking equipment. If you also rent the lodging units, each has a fully stocked kitchen.

This is a DIY rental space, meaning:

☀ Guests are responsible for setup & teardown of tables, chairs, and decorations.
☀ The space must be left in reasonably clean and good condition before departure.
☀ Guests supply their own tablecloths, servingware, plates, utensils, and catering supplies.

Free street parking & public lots are available nearby. NO on-site parking is included unless lodging is also booked.

Event Space rentals include exclusive access to the event space and its amenities. NO access to the rooftop patio – this is reserved for lodging guests.

Check-in is contactless via key-coded entry. Your unique door code, along with detailed check-in instructions, parking information, and check-out guidelines, will be sent before your event.

☆☆ RATES & SECURITY DEPOSIT ☆☆

Pricing starts at $350/day (varies by season & setup needs). Discounts are available for groups booking lodging.

A $250 refundable security deposit is required. Additional fees may apply for excessive cleaning, damage, or late checkouts.

The Event Space at the Brown County Barn Burner is part of a unique property that also includes four private lodging units and a rooftop patio—perfect for multi-day retreats, reunions, or group getaways.

We prioritize event bookings for groups also reserving Barn Burner lodging. If you’re planning an overnight stay, you can rent multiple units or even the Entire Barn Burner, which sleeps up to 29 guests across all four units.

Standalone Event Space rentals (without lodging) are typically only available 90 days in advance, and we rarely rent the space for wedding receptions due to the impact on overnight guests.

The Brown County Barn Burner sits in a quiet yet convenient corner of Nashville, Indiana, at the intersection of Jefferson and Washington Streets. You’re just a few easily walkable blocks from the heart of town, where you’ll find locally owned shops, art galleries, restaurants, coffee spots, and more.

Less than ¼ mile away, the Salt Creek Trail provides a scenic, paved path (¾ mile) leading to the Brown County Music Center, Brown County YMCA, IGA grocery store, and additional restaurants and shops in Salt Creek Plaza. Prefer to drive? You’ll be less than a 5-minute drive from the Brown County State Park or a slightly further–but still easy–drive to Yellowwood State Forest, Lake Monroe, and the nearby cities of Bloomington and Columbus.
